WE WERE BORN: March 29, 2012, in Rochester (Minn.) Methodist Hospital.

OUR MOTHER IS: Melissa Swor of Duluth.

OUR GRANDPARENTS ARE: Malcolm Gundelach of Cottonwood, Ariz., and the late Cheryl Gundelach and Gregory Swor.

OUR GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: The late Stanley “Doc” and Deloris Gustafson and George and Betty Swor.

OUR GREAT-GREAT-UNCLE IS: The late Arnold “Arnie” Gustafson.

OUR MOTHER CHOSE OUR NAMES BECAUSE: Our middle names are a tribute to our great-grandparents and great-great-uncle. Vintor is a combination of the middle names of our great-grandfather and great-great-uncle, Victor and Vincent. Ivy is because our great-grandmother Deloris’ middle name began with the letter ‘I’ and our great-grandfather, great-great-uncle and their sibilings had middle names that began with a ‘V’, so together it became “Ivy.”

MOTHER’S WISH OR ADVICE: I wish for you all the best things life can offer and just a pinch of the bad so that you will grow into well-rounded adults who appreciate a hard-days work and a hard-days play.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Against all medical odds, your Grandma Cheryl lived long enough to see your picture and know that you both made it into this world before she left it.
