Jason L. Anderson 30, beloved son of Carl and Marie Anderson, and a brother to Shanna, and Thera passed away on Feb. 27, 2013 peacefully at home of natural causes in Buyck, Minn.
Jason L. Anderson 30, beloved son of Carl and Marie Anderson, and a brother to Shanna, and Thera passed away on Feb. 27, 2013 peacefully at home of natural causes in Buyck, Minn.
He was born Jason Lloyd Anderson on Oct 23, 1982, in Minneapolis, and born third of a set of triplets to Carl and Marie.
He grew up in Crane Lake, where his summers were spent driving a tow boat for the family business, Anderson Canoe Outfitters, and his studies were done at the Orr High School where he graduated from in 2002.
He went on to becoming a fire fighter and first responder for the Crane Lake Volunteer Fire department, and following his passion for fire fighting, he worked for the Voyageurs National Park. Later Jason proceeded to follow in his fathers footsteps to work on the power lines and become part of the Anderson Barging business. His main passion in life was the outdoors where he loved to fish and hunt. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Jason is survived by his parents, Carl and Marie Anderson of Crane Lake; his sisters Shanna ("RJ" Jingco) Anderson of Superior, Wis., and Thera Anderson of Crane Lake; his paternal grandparents, Robert "Bob" and Emmy Lou Anderson of Crane Lake and maternal grandmother, Martha Bolden of Kitzville; and a very special little niece Emmalin Jingco, along with numerous special aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
MEMORIAL SERVICES: 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Orr American Legion Hall, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements are with Mlaker Funeral Home, Cook.
