Minnesota’s lieutenant governor and two lawmakers will talk about Germany’s health-care system in a panel discussion on Friday evening.

Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon, state Sen. Tony Lourey, DFL-Kerrick, and state Rep. Tom Huntley, DFL-Duluth, will speak at 7 p.m. at Montague Hall 80, 1211 Ordean Court, at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Their presentation is part of a yearlong examination of comparative health care systems by the Royal D. Alworth Jr. Institute for International Studies.

Lourey and Huntley are among those who have joined delegations to Germany led by Prettner Solon to examine that nation’s health care system.

The free presentation will be followed by a reception.
