FERN ANNE NEUBERG

Fern Anne Neuberg, 72 of Alborn, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 in St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.

She was born Jan. 31, 1941 in Duluth to Walter and Margaret Elmore.

Fern grew up and attended school in Meadowlands. On Oct. 25, 1960 she married Frank Neuberg in Floodwood and they made their home in Alborn.

Fern enjoyed sewing, gardening, and baking. She was a member of the Northland Studebaker Drivers Club.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Frank; sisters, Peggy Abramson and Mary Jane Studley; and one brother, Robert Elmore.

She is survived and will be sadly missed by her three children, Frank Jr. (Laura) of Leominster, Mass., Norman (Carrie) of Culver, and Leigh (Jerry) Deppa of Cloquet; sisters, Vera (Gordon) Reimer of Duluth and Eileen Wood of Cloquet; brothers, Walter “Buster” Elmore of Wisconsin and Arthur (Doris) Elmore of Culver; brother-in-law, Harold “Boots” Abramson of Florida; eight grandchildren, Brandi, Wade, Amanda, Lisa, Joe, James, Jessica, and Spencer; and three great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ryleigh, and Sierra.
