Superior to host slam dunk cancer event
HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL: The Spartans will host Duluth East in girls and boys basketball today as part of a fundraiser in the fight against cancer.By: News Tribune staff, Duluth News Tribune
Superior will host Duluth East in girls and boys basketball today as part of a fundraiser in the fight against cancer.
The girls start at 5:45 p.m., with the boys at 7:15 p.m.
The event will include a silent auction, with the Spartans wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off after the games. All proceeds go toward the fight against cancer.
The games will also be part of Superior student and youth basketball appreciation night, with all Superior students receiving free admission, as well as youth wearing their basketball jerseys.
