  • A state official said yesterday that African “killer” bees could be in Minnesota as early as this year. Art Mason of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture suggested that the bees could be inadvertently brought from Texas in trucks or railroad cars.

  • A six-citizen panel will study and recommend where Miller-Dwan Hospital fits in the future of Duluth’s medical services, Mayor Gary Doty said yesterday. The panel will submit its findings and recommendations to the mayor and City Council.
