I WAS BORN: March 2, 2012, in my home.

MY PARENTS ARE: James and Alice Durfee of Duluth.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Tristan, 14; Julianna, 13; Jessie, 11; Jacob, 10; Wyatt, 7; Katie, 6; Cheyenne, 4; and Dusty, 2.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Frederick and Victoria LaByer of Walls, Miss., and Arthur Durfee and Pauline Durfee, both of Duluth.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Alma Verigan of Tavares, Fla., and the late Ross and Ruth LaByer, Owen Verigan, William and Ruby Durfee and David and Lillian VanDyke.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Daddy really liked the name Willy, though Mommy wasn’t so sure, but after all my siblings decided that they liked that name, too, Mommy finally agreed. My middle name is after Daddy’s Uncle Jack, whom he admired.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Willy was born with a club foot. After many casts and a surgery, his foot is now normal; and at 10 months he is already walking!
