ALL IN THE FAMILY: Gianna Grace Harper and Oliver Edwin Tracy new arrivals

I WAS BORN: June 13, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth. I WAS BORN: Aug. 14, 2012, in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet.

I WAS BORN: June 13, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Lee and Melissa Harper of Cloquet.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Tony and Debi Fisher and Patty Harper, all of Cloquet.

MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHERS ARE: Iola Mraz of Barnum and Joan McDowell of Cloquet.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They had settled on the name Gianna from the first time they heard it. Once they knew for sure I was a girl, that was it. No other name “fit.”

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: We hope and pray you’ll have a healthy and happy future.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Gianna is our little miracle. Everything about her is special. The very fact that we had her is special. She blesses our lives in more ways than we can possibly say.


Oliver Edwin Tracy

I WAS BORN: Aug. 14, 2012, in Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet.

MY PARENTS ARE: Brent and Emily Tracy of Cloquet.

MY SIBLINGS ARE: Harmony, 8, and Brennan, 7.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Tony and Debi Fisher of Cloquet; Brent and Debbie Donaldson of Barnum; and Bryan and Donna Tracy of Meadowlands.

MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHERS ARE: Iola Mraz of Barnum and Eileen Makela of Meadowlands.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Everyone was involved in selecting my name. My sister and brother actually came up with it and it was one they all agreed on. My middle name is after my late great-grandpa, Edwin.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Always tell the truth and forgive yourself of your mistakes.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Oliver is our beautiful heartsong. His soul is so bright and good that he brings overwhelming joy to us all. In our chaotic and busy world, Oliver is accepting of everything. He astounds us on a daily basis. We all love him so much; he completes us.
