Rick and Sandy Erickson of Duluth celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on a mystery trip.

Rick and the former Sandy Solem were married Feb. 10, 1973, in Alliance Community Church in Duluth.

Rick works for Archer Racing in Duluth. Sandy is retired from the Duluth Board of Education.

The couple’s special moment is on each of their 40 anniversaries they have dined at a restaurant they have never been to before.
