Eh? Celebrate chocolate season at Art in the Alley

We are firm believers in chocolate and celebrating the season. If there can be a “construction season,” why not one for chocolate?

Art in the Alley is celebrating the chocolate season by hosting a chocolate sampling with chocolatier Heidi Ash of 185 Chocolat from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Art in the Alley, 230 E. Superior St.

Ash creates handmade, hand-painted chocolate, which will be available for sample and purchase.

Expect to encounter Raspberry Silk Double Hearts and Triple Chocolate (creamy milk chocolate with French lavender honey and dark chocolate ganache and honey); Pepperminty Crush and Chocolate Espresso Bars (gourmet chocolate bars), and Chocolate Knowledge (salt and handmade caramel).
