DARLENE A. KIMINSKI

Darlene A. Kiminski, 76, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 at Essentia Health.

Darlene was born in Drummond, Wis., on March 29, 1936 to Alf C. and Agnes J. (Christianson) Benson.

She was united in marriage to Richard Kiminski on Dec. 29, 1956. Darlene owned and operated a day care center for 39 years. Family and friends were first and foremost to Darlene. She enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Willow River and completing word puzzles. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard (1991) and her parents.

Darlene is survived by her four children, Michael (Gretchen) of Pine City, Minn., Jeff (Jean) of Rutledge, Minn., Lori (Scott) McTavish of Duluth, Julie Kiminski of Willow River, Minn.; grandchildren, Jason Kroska, Shauna Kiminski, Erica Kiminski, Tony McTavish, Wyatt Mlaskoch and Morgan Mlaskoch; step-grandchildren, Lisa (Dave) Prachar, Dawn Fjosne and Chad Herzog; great-grandchildren, Kara, Kayla, Kody and Kaitlyn; step-great-grandchildren, Morgan and Madison Prachar, Jordan and Dawson Fjosne and Ellie Jo Loew; brother Dale (Diane) Benson of California; sister-in-law, Priscilla Pince; brother-in-law, Raymond (Naomi) Kiminski; special friend Skip Benson; Bubba the cat as well as many other extended family members and friends.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 in Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary 2801 East 4th St. Duluth. Services entrusted to Cremation Society of Minnesota 218-624-5200
