I WAS BORN: Oct. 6, 2012, in St. Luke’s hospital in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Ashley and Daniel Peterson of Duluth.

MY BROTHER IS: Hayden, 2.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Todd and Dee Wilmot of Clo­quet and James and Patricia Peterson of Duluth.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Alvin and Karen Savo of Cloquet; James and Shirley Wilmot of Proctor; and the late Henry and Bernice Marciniak and John and Neva Peterson.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: I was named Neva after my great-grandmother, and DeeAnn after my grandmother. Mom­my and Daddy really like both names and how they sound together.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: You can do anything when you put your mind and heart into it. Mommy and Daddy will always be here to guide and support you. Mommy and Daddy love you!

SOMETHING SPECIAL: You were determined to prove Mommy’s doctor wrong about having to be born by Caesarean section. The day after Mommy scheduled surgery she went into labor and you were born on your due date! Mommy’s friends Pam and Michelle were your nurses.
