Taylor Robert Alexon, 21, of Barnum died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in his home.

Taylor Robert Alexon, 21, of Barnum died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in his home.

He was born Jan. 7, 1992 in Duluth to Deborah Alexon/Scott Carlson and Robert Montminy.

He graduated from Barnum High School in 2010.

Taylor was a gift from God that was blessed with so much talent. He was an extraordinary athlete and guitar player. He was a talented writer of poems and songs. He was an artist. He played baseball, basketball, and football, but music was Taylor’s passion. He was compassionate and witty and protected the people he loved. He was a wonderful human being, son, brother and a devoted friend.

Taylor was a member of the Rainbow Club. He was also a humanitarian, and supporter of peace and personal freedom.

The disease of addiction took his life.

Taylor was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kermit and Irene Carlson; and paternal grandfather, Robert Montminy, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Deborah Alexon Ashton of Roseville; father, Scott Carlson of Barnum; father, Robert (Lisa) Montminy of Esko; brothers, Zachary Carlson of Barnum, Christopher Carlson of Roseville, and Brock Montminy of Esko; sister, Mylee Montminy of Esko; maternal grandparents, Tom and Linda Alexon of Daytona Beach, FL, paternal grandmother, Marilyn Montminy of Sartell; aunts Lisa and family of Sartell and Michelle and family from Bristol, England.
