LUKE J. RIBICH

Luke J. Ribich, 84, of Duluth died Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Essentia Health in Duluth.

He was born March 30, 1928 in Biwabik, Minn., to Luke A. and Frances (Anzelc) Ribich.

Luke attended Biwabik High School and later enlisted with the U.S. Army serving in Korea.

On Sept. 27, 1958 he married Betty Judd. Luke owned and operated several businesses on the Iron Range. For several years he worked for and retired from Kolar Chev and Buick in Duluth.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; brothers, Edward (Pat) Ribich of Sauk Rapids, Robert (Rosemary) Ribich of Bass Lake and Richard (Janet) Ribich of Santa Fe, N.M.; several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 in Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Graveside service with Military honors accorded by the Gilbert VFW Post will be 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik. Fr. Frank Perkovich will officiate.
