Health Notes: Sex trafficking to be discussed

A topic that’s currently in the news will be featured in tonight’s “Speak Your Mind” mental-health program.

“Sexual abuse, sexual assault and sex trafficking” will be the topic of the program at 7:30 on PBS North, Channels 8.1 and 31.1. Dr. Carolyn Phelps is host of the half-hour program. This week’s guests are Saprina Matheny, who supervises the Trauma Assessment and Family Treatment program at the Human Development Center; and Shunu Shrestha, who coordinates the Duluth Trafficking Task Force through the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault.

“Speak Your Mind” will be preceded by “Doctors on Call” at 7 p.m. This week’s topic is “Men’s Health.”
