Platinum is great news in the recording industry.
It’s also great news for St. Luke’s Hospital, which has been recognized by the American College of Cardiology as a 2012 Platinum Award winner for its treatment of heart-attack patients.
St. Luke’s was one of 164 hospitals across the nation that achieved the distinction, a St. Luke’s news release said.
To earn the recognition, a hospital must consistently follow the treatment guidelines set by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association for at least eight consecutive quarters and meet a standard of at least 90 percent on specific performance measures.
