Lindmeyer, LaPlante

Becky Lindmeyer and Dan LaPlante, both of Duluth, plan to be married Aug. 17 in St. James Catholic Church in Duluth.

Her parents are Keith and Pam Lindmeyer of Cloquet. His parents are Larry and Cheryl La-Plante of Esko and Brenda and Mark Lund of Duluth.

The future bride, a 2004 graduate of Cloquet Senior High School, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2010 with a master’s degree in education, school counseling. She is a school counselor at Hibbing High School.

The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Denfeld High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in art therapy. He is a plumber apprentice with Local 11 Plumbers and Pipefitters at Carlson Duluth Co.
