MEMORABLE MOMENT: Carlson, Lozon engagement

Casey Carlson and Adam Lozon, both of Superior, plan to be married June 29 in Dan­bury.

Her parents are Cathy Carlson of Duluth and Roger Carlson of Superior. His parents are John Lozon of Superior and the late Carla Lozon.

The future bride, a 2000 graduate of Denfeld High School in Duluth, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is the Superior High School Dance Team coach and also a program manager at Udac in Duluth.

The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Superior High School, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2006 with an associate degree in art. He works in maintenance at Villa-Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior.

Proposal in Honeymoon Cove

Last February we took a family cruise to the Caribbean. On Valentine’s Day after swimming with the sea turtles, we had lunch on Honeymoon Cove in St. Thomas. I noticed Adam standing in the water so I went out to meet him. He got down on one knee and asked if I’d be his forever. It was so romantic and a complete surprise!
