I WAS BORN: July 12, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Jason and Kari Rengo of Duluth.

MY BROTHERS ARE: Kayden, 9, and Karter, 4.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Kevin and Kathy Behm and Lance and Joan Rengo, all of Duluth.

MY GREAT-GRANDPARENTS ARE: Donna Benson, Norman Behm and Mary Ann Berg, all of Duluth, and the late Ronald Benson.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They wanted a unique name that kept with the “K” theme of my Mom’s family and my brothers.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: To be a dreamer, to set high goals for yourself and to never let anything get in your way!

SOMETHING SPECIAL: Kalysta’s Great-papa Ron died three weeks after her birth, but in their short time together he gave her the nickname “Poopie” that will be with her forever.
