Duluth’s Temple Israel has just published “EAT! Something Already,” a collection of more than 100 traditional recipes written by members of region’s Jewish community.
The first-time effort includes recipes for appetizers, desserts, side dishes, main courses, soups and salads, breads and holiday specialties. Those who have contributed to the book are passing along recipes from generations in their families along with newer ones.
The 190-page book is available for $20 at Temple Israel, 1602 E. Second St. Add $6 if you choose to send a check and have the book mailed. Mail orders to Cookbook at Temple Israel, 1602 E. Second St., Duluth, MN 55812.
