Officials talk commercial property taxes at Duluth Chamber forum

Officials from the city of Duluth and St. Louis County assessor's offices spoke about commercial property taxes Thursday morning during a Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce forum.

The event was held in the wake of large increases in property tax bills for businesses in some parts of the city, including along London Road. They talked about how property tax bills are calculated, and offered some explanations for the increases seen in some bills.
