FRED SNEDKER

Fred Snedker, 65, of Breckenridge, Minn., passed away on Dec. 16, 2012.

Fred was born on May 25, 1947 to Carl Roland and Marguerite Snedker in Duluth.

He graduated from Central High School in Duluth and entered the United States Navy in 1966. After his service in the U.S. Navy, he went to work as a Grain Inspector for the State of Minnesota, until that division’s closure. He was most recently employed by N.D. Grain Inspection and had been for six years.

In his spare time, Fred dearly enjoyed spending time with his family. Especially the many hours he spent fishing with his wife, Patricia and just being around his children and grandchildren.

Fred is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Patricia; daughters, Sherri (Dave) Oman, and Melissa Ziegelman; sons, Jeremiah (Susan) Snedker, Adam (Elena) Snedker, and Wayne (Jennifer) Larson. Fred is also survived by his brother, Carl (Mary) Snedker and numerous nieces and nephews.

The apple of Fred’s eyes was his grandchildren, Jared, Darren, Elisha, Alexis, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Alexander, Zachary and Andrew. He will be missed dearly by all of them.

Fred was preceded in death by his father, Carl Roland and his mother, Marguerite.

VISITATION: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 in the West Funeral Home Chapel in West Fargo, N.D. Service 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 in the West Funeral Home Chapel in West Fargo, N.D. Burial at Sunrise Cemetery, Duluth, in the spring of 2013.
