Minnesota has upgraded its online report card on the state’s nursing homes.
The revamped report card includes more information on quality and more flexibility for consumers in selecting quality measures important to them, the Minnesota Department of Human Services and the Minnesota Department of Health announced in a news release.
Other new features include displays of multiple facilities on the same screen to allow for comparison, more than a year’s worth of data for each facility, lists of facilities by city and links to Google maps for locations and directions, the news release said.
In 2006, Minnesota was the first state in the nation to launch a report card to consumers on nursing homes.
