Lindsay Gaffke and James Brouse, both of Duluth, were married April 28 in the event center at Black Bear Casino in Carlton.
Her parents are Gordon and Delores Gaffke of Esko. His parents are Robert Brouse of Duluth and the late Carol Brouse.
The bride chose her sister, Kelly Vitek, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ericka Pitrago, Kristy Berdice and Stacy Kulm.
The groom chose Paul Larson as best man. Groomsmen were Brad Brouse, Jeff Jegloski and Steve Wick.
The bride, a 1997 graduate of Lincoln High School in Esko, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2003 with an associate degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in intensive care at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.
The groom, a 1991 graduate of Duluth Central High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and sociology. He is a behavioral specialist at TBI Residential and Community Services in Duluth.
