St. Luke's hospital recognizes Valentini's Deli

A pie social and ribbon cutting ceremony was held to mark the grand opening of Valentini’s Deli at St. Luke’s hospital.

The Duluth Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors were on hand on the second floor near the skywalk to welcome the deli with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday.

Slices of pie and coffee were available for a $1 donation to the St. Luke’s Volunteer Service Guild’s program to provide holiday stockings to hospitalized children.

Valentini’s Deli operates in St. Luke’s hospital through an agreement with the Volunteer Service Guild. Under the agreement, Valentini’s Deli contributes a portion of its profits to the guild for its support of various patient care programs and the purchase of medical equipment.
