Enter the 2012 Great Venison Sausage Contest
When deer season is over, enter your venison summer sausage, venison sticks or venison jerky in the News Tribune’s 2012 Great Venison Sausage Contest. Our panel of judges will taste-test the entries and pick winners in both amateur and commercial divisions in all three categories. Winners in each category will receive gift certificates at local outdoor shops.

Entries must be at the News Tribune by 4 p.m. Dec. 11. Judging will take place Dec. 12, and we’ll publish the winners in our Outdoors pages on Dec. 16. We’ll share some of the winning recipes with our readers.
