Stephen C. LaPanta, 67, of Shoreview passed away surrounded by family Nov. 9, 2012.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Catherine LaPanta; brother, Greg.

Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy; children, Anthony (Margo), Mathew (Darcy), Amelia (Sean) Gerrity, Stephen M. (Mary); grandchildren, A.J., Vinny, Gianni, Arianna, Amato and Marco; siblings, Karen (Rollie) Flaherty, Michael (Ann), Kathleen Hartman, Kristen Casteel, and Elizabeth (David) Carlson.

VISITATION 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell, 515 W Hwy 96 at Mackubin, Shoreview (651-482-7606). Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19 (visitation one hour prior) in St. Odilia Catholic Church, 3495 N. Victoria St., Shoreview. Memorials preferred. He was taken from us far too early. An artist and an author, Steve’s true love was his family. His life showed us what a husband, father, and grandfather should be. Steve impacted every life he touched, and will never be forgotten.
