ELNORA J. BERGH

Elnora J. Bergh, 95, Duluth, died Nov. 8, 2012 at Edgewood Vista.

She was born in Barber, Mont., on Sept. 16, 1917 to John and Olga Bergh.

The family moved to Duluth in 1925. She was a 1935 graduate of Denfeld High School. She started her career with Northwestern Bell as a clerical worker and retired as a service representative in 1978.

Elnora was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, it’s Altar Guild, Prayer Chain, Quilting Circle, Leah Circle and the Lutheran Church Women. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers.

Elnora was preceded in death by her parents; sister Violet Bergh and brothers Edwin, Robert, James, Richard and Loren.

She is survived by her sister Marilyn Rice, Blaine, Minn.; sisters-in-law Helen Bergh and Grace Bergh, both of Hermantown and Roberta Bergh, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; 28 nieces and nephews and many, many great nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m funeral service Friday in Zion Lutheran Church, Duluth. Burial at Park Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Williams-Lobermeier-Boettcher Funeral Home.
