Alanna Pahos and Michael Calaman, both of Spooner, plan to be married May 18 in Bethany Lutheran Church in Siren, Wis.
Her parents are Scott Pahos of Trego and Mary Jane Pahos of Webster, Wis. His parents are Geri Ann and Michael Dryke of Duluth and James and Tammy Calaman of Braham, Minn.
The future bride, a 2004 graduate of Spooner High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in social work, and is pursuing a master’s degree in special education from the University of North Dakota. She is a social worker for Burnett County Health and Human Services in Siren.
The future groom graduated from Duluth East High School in 2003. He is an iron worker for Union Ironworkers Local 512 in Duluth.
