Richard and Marie Cora 50th wedding anniversary

Richard and Marie Cora of Hermantown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-5 p.m. Saturday in Gethsemane Covenant Church, 4479 Ugstad Road, Hermantown.

Richard and Marie Cora of Hermantown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-5 p.m. Saturday in Gethsemane Covenant Church, 4479 Ugstad Road, Hermantown.

Richard and the former Marie Salminen were married Nov. 17, 1962, in United Protestant Church in Morgan Park.

Their children are Joy and Daryl Illikainen of Hermantown and Jennifer and Mark Spehar of Duluth. They have eight grandchildren.

Richard is retired from the Air National Guard’s 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth. Marie is a retired beautician and Sears employee.
