The Banana Thing
8-10 bananas
2 large boxes of vanilla pudding (not instant)
6 c. milk
1 medium container of Cool Whip
1 - 10 oz. pkg. of marshmallows
2 pkgs. graham crackers
Cook the pudding as directed with the 6 cups of milk. Cool in the refrigerator overnight, stirring occasionally. Place the pudding in a large bowl. Peel bananas and slice. Add to the pudding mix. Add the Cool Whip. Mix in the marshmallows. Right before serving, break the graham crackers into medium chunks. Stir some into the bowl and sprinkle some over the top.

Toffee Bars
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
2 c. flour
12 oz. chocolate chips
nuts or candy, optional
Mix the first 6 ingredients together. Spread on cookie sheet with lips or jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Take out and spread the chocolate chips over bars. Put back in oven for a few minutes until melted, take out and spread the chocolate. Sprinkle with nuts or candies if desired.

It is an old family recipe we used to make when I was growing up. It is so quick and easy if you have a sweet tooth to satisfy.
