ELROSE A. (CISMOWSKI) NORFOLK

Elrose A. (Cismowski) Norfolk, 85, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at the Benedictine Health Center.

A lifelong Duluth resident, Elrose was born Feb. 23, 1927 to Joe and Ann (Rohsfeld) Saladis.

Elrose was a loving wife and mother. She was an avid golfer, bowler and gardener. She enjoyed hosting numerous family activities.

She was a proud member of Peace United Church of Christ for 72 years, and thoroughly enjoyed meeting with friends through her church circle and prayer chain.

Elrose was preceded in death by her loving husband Neil J. Norfolk; her sister Elsie Mitchell; and her brothers Ronnie Saladis, Arnie Krabbe and Joe Allen Saladis.

Elrose is survived by her children, Kathryn Paul, Mary Jo McGath and John A. (Terri) Cismowski; step daughters Becky (John) Lokke and Neila (Patrick) Kilgore; her sister Jo Ann Harteau; her grandchildren, Rob, Kimberly and Kristin; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Elrose was a warm and loving person, proud to be a stubborn American German. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
