Medical career event planned at UMD

High school students considering a career in medicine will have a chance to learn more about the field during a free event Nov. 13 at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth campus.

High school students considering a career in medicine will have a chance to learn more about the field during a free event Nov. 13 at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth campus.

The event, offered by the Lake Superior Medical Society and the medical school, will include a panel of experts, a tour of the school and opportunities to talk with doctors about a variety of specialties. The two-hour event begins at 6 p.m. in Room 142 at the school, which is on the campus of the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Space is limited, and registration is required by Friday by calling (218) 727-3325.
