Norman and Helen Larson 50th wedding anniversary

Norman and Helen Larson of Sturgeon Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 27, and are planning a spring trip to the south with their children.

Norman and Helen Larson of Sturgeon Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 27, and are planning a spring trip to the south with their children.

Norman and the former Helen Tietz were married Oct. 27, 1962, during a candlelit ceremony in Faith Lutheran Church in Sturgeon Lake.

Their children are Glenda, Sandra and Tammy, all who live in the area. They have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Norman retired from working as a heavy equipment operator/49ers. Helen retired from her secretarial position with the Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry for the State of Minnesota.
