Laurie Johnson and Wayne Swor, both of Duluth, were married June 2 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Robert and Barbara Johnson of Duluth. His father is the late Bruce Swor.
The bride chose Dana Hanson as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Autumn Regas and Tammy Wilde. Jolie Urie was flower girl.
The groom chose his uncle, Steve Pelto, as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Becker and Dave Erdmann. Easton Grumdahl was ring bearer.
The bride, a 1992 graduate of Marshall School in Duluth, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in communication and from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1998 with a master’s degree in mass communication. She is a marketing planner for Essentia Health in Duluth.
The groom, a 1988 graduate of Colorado Springs (Colo.) Christian School, graduated from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in construction management. He is a business manager at Les Grumdahl Window & Siding LLC in Duluth.
