JOANN FAY ALBERG

JoAnn Fay Alberg, 70, of Denham, Minn., passed away at Solvay Hospice Center in Duluth, on Oct. 20, 2012, with family and friends by her side.

JoAnn was born in Butte, Mont., on Jan. 23, 1942.

She grew in Denham, Minn., where she attended elementary school and graduated from Willow River High School in 1959. JoAnn also lived in Minneapolis, Duluth, and and Barnum before returning to live in Denham.

JoAnn worked at several different jobs during her life including Conwed and later USG. She also held a variety of other jobs over the years from bank teller to truck dispatcher.

JoAnn enjoyed many things in life including gardening, carpentry, playing music, garage sailing, bird watching/feeding, and just being out in nature in general.

JoAnn spent the last 11 winters in Bullhead City, Ariz., where she also had many friends and always looked forward to hosting visitors from back home.

JoAnn is preceded in death by father Roland Alberg; mother Elsie Alberg; and brother Donald Alberg.

She is survived by brother Dale (Dorie) Alberg; sister Terri Hill; son Tim Andresen, son Gary Andresen; life partner Lyn Jacobson and his daughters Jill (Victor) Roselis and Jackie (Jason) Cowsill. Also survived by nieces Diane (Buzzy) Lundborg and Cherie Alberg; nephews Richard (Patti) Alberg, Douglas (April) Alberg, Robert Amberg, Alan (Molly) Alberg, and Jim Hill. Also, grandchildren Lydia, Anna, Kyle, and Kaylie Andresen, as well as many grand nephews and nieces.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: will be held at a date to be determined.
