Ronald and Judy Welhaven 50th wedding anniversary

Ronald and Judy Welhaven of Barnes and Alamo, Texas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Ronald and Judy Welhaven of Barnes and Alamo, Texas, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family at their summer home in Barnes this summer.

Ronald and the former Judy Thompson were married on Nov. 3, 1962, in Duluth.

Their children are Randi Welhaven and Tony Minnick of Minneapolis; Ryan Welhaven of Fallbrook, Calif.; and Reid and Lisa Welhaven of Barnes. They have six grandchildren.

Ronald is a retired principal and Judy is a retired teacher and assistant from the Duluth Public Schools.
