Mya Jean Clements

I WAS BORN: May 27, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Sarah Weitkuhn and Tom Clements of Duluth.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: Hans and Bridget Weitkuhn of Racine, Wis., and Bill and Lori Clements of Duluth.

MY GREAT-GRANDMOTHER IS: Norma Nelson of Duluth.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: They had a few names picked out but when Mom was in labor they came up with the name Mya, and they say it fits me. Jean is after Mom’s godmother, and is also my paternal grand-mother’s middle name.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your field.

SOMETHING SPECIAL: After a healthy and very blessed pregnancy, Mya was born on her due date.
