Phil and Judy Moretto of Hermantown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows in St. Raphael’s Church, followed by lunch with family and friends at Valentini’s restaurant.

Phil and the former Judy Moniak were married Sept. 29, 1962.

Their children are Ginny Moretto and Diane and Tom Steele, all of Apple Valley, Minn.; LaVonne and Les Lathrop of Duluth; and Lance and Michelle Moretto of Ramsey, Minn. They have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Phil retired from Sears home improvement sales. Judy retired as a licensed practical nurse from Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center.
