DOROTHY "DODE" OLIVE DALLMANN (TRUSCOTT)
Dorothy "Dode" Olive Dallmann (Truscott), 89, a lifelong resident of Duluth, died Oct. 12, 2012, in Viewcrest Health Center, Duluth.
Dorothy was born April 10, 1923, in Duluth, to Basil and Pearl Truscott. She grew up in the Woodland area and was active with Girl Scouts in her youth. Dorothy was a graduate of Duluth Central High School. She worked for the Duluth School Board, Wirtanen & Carlson CPA firm and the Chicago and North Western Transportation Co., where she met Ray Dallmann. On July 1, 1963, they were married.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of Woodland/Hope United Methodist Churches in Duluth, where she sang in the choir for many years and was involved in many other activities. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, cooking, baking and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 2011; her parents; brothers Robert Roy Truscott and Vincent Ashley Truscott; and sisters Mildred Alice Truscott and Beatrice Albertine Lyons.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Tim Dallmann, of Eden Prairie, Minn.; sister Charlene Ostman of Midway Township; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. service Wednesday, Oct. 17, in Hope United Methodist Church, 301 W. St. Marie St., Duluth. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hope UMC are preferred.
