Earl and Margaret Edberg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house Oct. 27 from 1-5 p.m. in the Fredenberg Community Center, 5014 Fish Lake Road.

Earl and the former Margaret Childs were married Dec. 8, 1962, in the Duluth Air Base Chapel.

Their children are Dawn and Gene Palm of Aurora; Jim and Becky Towers of Carpentersville, Ill.; Allen and Toni Edberg of Fredenberg; Jody and Bill Grulke of Waunakee, Wis.; and the late Mark and Becky Towers. They have 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Earl is retired from Diamond Tool and Horseshoe in Duluth. Margaret is retired from Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth.
