LeRoy and Karyn Lysher of Island Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

LeRoy and Karyn Lysher of Island Lake celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

LeRoy and the former Karyn Newton were married Oct. 6, 1962, in St. Rose Catholic Church in Proctor.

Their children are Dan and Laura Lysher and Mark and Julie Lysher, all of Saginaw, and the late John Lysher. They have four grandchildren.

LeRoy is retired from the 148th Air National Guard. Karyn is a homemaker.
