Ralph and Helen Brake 50th wedding anniversary

Ralph and Helen Brake of Hermantown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family picnic in Melrose, Minn.

Ralph and Helen Brake of Hermantown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family picnic in Melrose, Minn.

Ralph and the former Helen Beuning were married Oct. 6, 1962, in St Francis Church in Freeport, Minn.

Their children are Michael and Cheryl Brake of Montgomery, Ala., Pat and Lori Brake of Seattle, Wash., and Mark and Alison Brake of Tampa, Fla. They have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ralph is retired from the United States Air Force and Essentia Health. Helen is retired from St. Luke’s hospital.
