About Heart Walk
The Heart Walk, a noncompetitive walking event, will take place Saturday morning at Malosky Stadium on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus.
The Heart Walk, a noncompetitive walking event, will take place Saturday morning at Malosky Stadium on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., with opening ceremonies at 9:40.
The walk will begin at 10 a.m. Participants can choose a 1- or 1.5-mile course. Super One Foods will provide snacks and beverages. A health fair with free screenings and information will be available to participants from 8-11 a.m.
It is not too late to take part. People can form a team or just show up. There is no cost to participate, but donations are encouraged.
The Heart Walk helps raise money to support heart and stroke research as well as public and professional education programs funded by the American Heart Association.
