D. Scott and Janine Howard of Duluth celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

D. Scott and Janine Howard of Duluth celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

Scott and the former Janine Nagle were married Sept. 16, 1972, in St. James Catholic Church in Duluth.

Their children are Teri and Darrin Maas, Jamie and Chad Nurminen and Karlie Howard, all of Duluth. They have five grandchildren.

Scott retired as owner/operator of the former Howard Waste Paper Inc. in Duluth. Janine retired as a paraprofessional from Independent School District 709 in Duluth.
