Bowman, Diede wedding

Deedra Bowman and Mitchell Diede, both of Gilbert, were married June 9 in First United Methodist Church in Duluth.

Her parents are Jack and Debra Bowman of Gilbert. His parents are Cathy and Dave Takanen of Gilbert and the late Gary Diede Sr.

The bride chose Chasica Rasmusson as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bonnie Diede, Kjirsten Bauer and Christina Bogart.

The groom chose Andrew Elg as best man. Groomsmen were Gary Diede Jr., John Stupca and Sam Martinson. Zachary Diede was ring bearer.

The bride, a 2007 graduate of Mesabi East High School in Aurora, graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth this year with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. She is an associate process engineer at CHS Inc. in Mankato, Minn.

The groom, a 2004 graduate of Eveleth-Gilbert High School in Eveleth, graduated from Mesabi Range Community and Technical College in Eve­leth in 2006 with a vocational certificate in carpentry. He works in building materials sales at Men­ards Inc. in Mankato.
