I WAS BORN: Jan. 25, 2012, in Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth.

MY PARENTS ARE: Chad and Crystal Nicolai of Hermantown.

MY SISTER IS: Elizabeth, 8.

MY GRANDPARENTS ARE: John and Linda Meek of Alborn; Kathy McKeever of Hermantown; and Ted Nicolai of Duluth.

MY PARENTS CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE: Lydia was the only name my sister liked and Jane is the name of my paternal great-grandmother.

PARENTS’ WISH OR ADVICE: Have faith in God. Be good and do good. Smile. Live long and prosper (that’s advice from Dad).

SOMETHING SPECIAL: We prayed for you for six years. When you finally decided to join us, you arrived five weeks early.
