Ciara Gilbert and Mike Simenson, both of Superior, plan to be married Oct. 13 at Gordon Pines Golf Course in Gordon.
Her parents are Todd and Cindy Gilbert of Solon Springs. His parents are Dave and Gitzy Wicklund and Mark Simenson, all of Solon Springs.
The future bride, a 2007 graduate of Solon Springs High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in wellness and fitness management. She is a coordination of benefits representative at United HealthCare in Duluth.
The future groom, a 2000 graduate of Solon Springs High School, graduated from Louis F. Garland Fire Academy in San Angelo, Texas, in 2003 with a vocational certificate in fire science. He is a member of the U.S. Air Force, which he joined in 2001, and is an air field fire fighter for the State of Minnesota in Duluth.
