If you plan to enter our “Starters & Finishers” recipe contest, remember to finish. Be sure to submit your appetizer and dessert recipes by the deadline of midnight Sunday.
The top 10 recipes will be chosen for a tasting event at Johnson Mertz on Oct. 4. And it’s not for nothing; we’ll throw in some cool stuff, too.
Prizes include a $500 gift certificate to Food Service Marketplace, a $300 gift certificate to Blue Heron Trading Company, $150 gift certificate to Dunbar’s Supply Inc., a yet-to-be-determined small kitchen appliance from Johnson Mertz, and a Weber grill from us.
