CECELIA K. FORYZIAK

Cecilia K. Foryziak, 105, of Duluth, passed on Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at Benedictine Health Center, Duluth.

Cecilia K. Maleska was born Sept. 25, 1906 in Fredenburg Township, St. Louis County, Minn., the daughter of Stanley and Hedwig (Niezgodka) Maleszka.

She grew up and attended school in Duluth. She married Clement V. Foryziak on Aug. 3, 1929 in Duluth.

Cecilia was a member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She enjoyed the cabin at Fish Lake and making angel food cakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers and nine sisters.

Cecilia is survived by her nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 until the 11 a.m. funeral service in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 East Second Street, Duluth. Burial at Polish Catholic Cemetery, Duluth. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home (218) 727-3555
